Why does Oklahoma City Ballet need your support?

Most people do not realize that ticket sales, program advertising and performance fees amount for only half of the income Oklahoma City Ballet needs to meet its expenses. The remainder of the income must come from individuals, foundations and corporations committed to supporting Oklahoma City Ballet’s performances and educational programs.

Who supports and donates to Oklahoma City Ballet?

Oklahoma City Ballet’s donations come from corporations, foundations, government agencies and individualks just like you. As a matter of fact, if it weren’t for donations, an average ticket to one of our performances at the Civic Center Music Hall would cost around $100.

Individual Support

In previous years, individual donors have contributed more than $150,000 to Oklahoma City Ballet. Although ballet is quite an expensive art form, Oklahoma City Ballet strives to maximize every dollar spent. Approximately 90 cents of every dollar contributed to the Ballet goes directly toward putting the productions on stage.

We are pleased to present to you our Sponsorship Program for the 2009-2010 season. Listed below are the different levels of potential sponsorship, each with benefits that provide value to you and your organization. There are seven sponsorship opportunities. We hope that you will join us in supporting one of the premiere developing ballet companies in the United States, based right here in Oklahoma City. We must raise 55% of our operating costs this year from sponsorships, individual donations and grants. Your support will help ensure that we can preserve and continue the rich heritage of ballet in Oklahoma City.
