Miss Stewart trained at The Dance Center of Oklahoma City Ballet for six years and spent summers with Long Beach Ballet Arts Center and the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City. She danced on scholarship at Texas Christian University for two years before transferring to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she completed a BA in Spanish and a Certificate in Dance through the School of North Carolina Dance Theater. From 2004-2007 she danced for Oklahoma City Ballet and taught ballet at local dance studios. Miss Stewart recently completed a Master’s degree in Global Affairs at the University of Oklahoma. She is pleased to be returning for a second year of teaching at The Dance Center of Oklahoma City Ballet.
