
Mandilyn studied was classically trained by Conrad and Joy Ludlow at The Dance Center of Oklahoma City Ballet and by her mother, Katha Hansen Bardel of A.R.T.S. She has also trained under acclaimed instructors Hillary Cartwright, Edward Villella, Kelly Brown, Wilhelm Burmann, David Holliday, Olga Kostritsky and Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute. Mandy toured throughout the US, Asia and South & Central America. She has followed a professional dance career path from corps de ballet, principal dancer, instructor, choreographer and director over the past 26 years. Technical accomplishments include inventing, patenting and licensing the industry's first jazz pointe shoe, the design used in the DansneakerTM, to the top dance manufacturers. To compliment active lifestyles, Mandy became certified as a raw food chef and has taught the art of raw cuisine to adults and children. 'Miss' Mandy's joy is training and mentoring students, many of whom have gone on to excel as accomplished performers, choreographers, instructors and directors in various professional dance endeavors.
