Lynna M. Schneider has been dancing since the moment she could take her first step. She began taking classes at the age of four with Barbie Rhea at the Dave Anderson Dance Studio and continued her formal training at The Dance Center of Oklahoma City Ballet. She began her undergraduate studies at the University of Oklahoma where she was fortunate to study with Ko Yukihiro, George White, Denise Vail, and Cynthia Bond-Perry. She completed her degree in Dance Education at the University of Central Oklahoma with Jamie Jacobson, Anne Blasdel, and Tina Kambour. Being part of UCO’s dance program allowed Lynna the opportunity to work with Holly Williams, Rip Parker, Bill Evans, and Debra Wright Knapp. After receiving her degree, Lynna danced with Prairie Dance Theater for two seasons. Lynna is founder and director of Pseudodance Theatre, an experimental dance company based in Oklahoma City, and is currently a Graduate student at the University of Oklahoma in the School of Dance.
