Training at the Anaheim Ballet, the University of Oklahoma's School of Dance, Boston Ballet, Houston Ballet, and American Ballet Theatre led David to become a company member of the Eugene Ballet for the 2007-2008 season. His favorite ballets include Carmen, Rodeo, Concerto Borocco, and Sentimentos. While at the University of Oklahoma, he received the Yvonne Chouteau Ballet Award for outstanding dancer, the first male to receive the award in over twenty years. This marks the second season for David with Oklahoma City Ballet. Last year David danced the principal role in Paris Rouge and the Lion in The Wizard of Oz.
