Crystal Wellman began her training at the school of Gaston Dance Theatre. She continued her training with scholarships to Atlanta Ballet, North Carolina Dance Theatre, North Carolina School of the Arts, and Joffrey Ballet. Ms. Wellman graduated Magna Cum Laude from East Carolina University on the Lynette Dorn and George H. Johnson, Jr. Scholarship receiving her BFA in Dance Performance. She was previously with the Montgomery Ballet where she performed soloist roles in Alice and Wonderland, Midsummer's Nights Dream and Flower Festival in Geryano. Since joining Oklahoma City Ballet in 2008, Ms. Wellman has performed principal roles in Sparso's Rise and Mills' Paris Rouge.
