Anton Iakovlev

Hometown - St. Petersburg, Russia

Anton trained at the Russian Ballet Academy with Boris Bregvadze from 1992-2000, earning a Bachelor of Arts while at the Academy. He performed with Burklyn Ballet Theatre in Vermont, Vanemuine Ballet (Tartu, Estonia), New York Theatre Ballet and Albany Berkshire Ballet. He has also danced Carmen with Akjun Ballet, and Giselle with the St. Petersburg Ballet. Last season Anton enjoyed performing Cavalier in Robert Mills' The Nutcracker and Le Corsaire pas de deux. In the summer of 2009 Anton performed as a guest artist at the University of Oklahoma dancing Mary-Margaret Holt's Romeo and Juliet pas de deux. Anton is married to fellow company member Darli Iakovleva.
